The Everest Base Camp Trek is a popular trekking route in the Nepalese Himalayas that takes approximately 12 days to complete. The trek is a challenging journey that takes trekkers through the heart of the Himalayas to the base of Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak.

Spend the day exploring the town and nearby sights
Visit the Sherpa Museum, attend a cultural program, and shop for souvenirs
Hike to the Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village for acclimatization purposes
Overnight in Namche Bazaar
Leave Namche Bazaar and head to Tengboche
Enjoy the scenic views of the Himalayas along the way
Visit the Tengboche Monastery, one of the largest in the Khumbu region
Overnight in Tengboche
Continue the trek to Dingboche
Enjoy the beautiful landscape and mountain views
Overnight in Dingboche
Spend the day exploring the town and nearby sights
Hike to the nearby hills or glaciers for acclimatization purposes
Overnight in Dingboche
Continue the trek to Lobuche
Cross the Kongma La Pass and visit the memorials for climbers who have lost their lives on Everest

Continue the trek to Gorak Shep
Visit the Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier
Return to Gorak Shep for the night
Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas
Return to Gorak Shep for breakfast and continue the trek to Pheriche
Overnight in Pheriche
Begin the trek back to Namche Bazaar

Early morning flight back to Kathmandu
Transfer to the hotel for rest and shower
