Overview
Island Peak, also known as Imja Tse, is a popular peak climbing destination in the Himalayas of Nepal. It is located in the Solu-Khumbu region and is considered a challenging but manageable climb for those with basic mountaineering skills. The peak rises to an elevation of 6,189 meters (20,305 feet) above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Mount Everest.
A typical Island Peak climbing package includes all necessary permits and fees, experienced local guides and porters, transportation to and from the mountain, accommodation in lodges or tents, and meals. Some packages also include equipment rental, such as climbing gear and oxygen. It is important to choose a reputable climbing company and to be in good physical condition before attempting the climb.
