The Everest Base Camp Trek is a popular trekking route in the Nepalese Himalayas that takes approximately 12 days to complete. The trek is a challenging journey that takes trekkers through the heart of the Himalayas to the base of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel Briefing on the trek and equipment check Preparing necessary documents and permits Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 2 : Fly to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Phakding (2610m)

Early morning flight to Lukla Meet the guide and porters at the airport Begin the trek to Phakding Enjoy the scenic views along the way Overnight in Phakding

Day 3 :Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Continue the trek to Namche Bazaar Cross several suspension bridges and pass through the Sagarmatha National Park Overnight in Namche Bazaar

Day 4 : Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

Spend the day exploring the town and nearby sights Visit the Sherpa Museum, attend a cultural program, and shop for souvenirs Hike to the Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village for acclimatization purposes Overnight in Namche Bazaar

Day 5 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m)

Leave Namche Bazaar and head to Tengboche Enjoy the scenic views of the Himalayas along the way Visit the Tengboche Monastery, one of the largest in the Khumbu region Overnight in Tengboche

Day 6 : Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m)

Continue the trek to Dingboche Enjoy the beautiful landscape and mountain views Overnight in Dingboche

Day 7 : Acclimatization day in Dingboche

Spend the day exploring the town and nearby sights Hike to the nearby hills or glaciers for acclimatization purposes Overnight in Dingboche

Day 8 : Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m)

Continue the trek to Lobuche Cross the Kongma La Pass and visit the memorials for climbers who have lost their lives on Everest Overnight in Lobuche

Day 9 : Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170m) and visit to Everest Base Camp (5364m)

Continue the trek to Gorak Shep Visit the Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier Return to Gorak Shep for the night

Day 10 :Hike to Kala Patthar (5545m) and return to Pheriche (4280m)

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas Return to Gorak Shep for breakfast and continue the trek to Pheriche Overnight in Pheriche

Day 11 : Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Begin the trek back to Namche Bazaar Enjoy the scenic views along the way Overnight in Namche Bazaar

Day 12 : Fly back to Kathmandu and farewell

Early morning flight back to Kathmandu Transfer to the hotel for rest and shower Farewell dinner with the guide and porters Overnight in Kathmandu
